Ingredients

  • half a head of garlic
  • 75 gr butter 5 tablespoons
  • 1 tbsp Belmorso Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1 lemon
  • salt and pepper
  • fresh parsley optional
  • 1/2 tsp cornflour
  • 1 tsp water

Equipment

  • 1 garlic presser
  • 1 knife
  • 1 tablespoon
  • 1 pan
  • 1 baking dish optional
  • 1 lemon squeezer
  • 1 cooking spoon
  • 1 teaspoon
  • 1 mini bowl

Method

  1. For the roasted garlic sauce version, start by roasting your garlic in the oven for 50 minutes.
  2. For the fresh sauce version, peel and wash your garlic. Then mince it using a garlic presser.
  3. Add the garlic to a pan and drizzle some Belmorso extra virgin olive oil. Let it sauté, but make sure it doesn't brown too much.
  4. Then add the butter to melt, and season.
  5. Optional: if you want your sauce to be thicker, add some corn flour. Start with half teaspoon mixed in 1 teaspoon of cold water, and add it to your butter, before you proceed to add the other ingredients.
  6. Lower the heat, and add the juice of one lemon.
  7. Mix and add the fresh parsley, if you want.
  8. Take it off the heat, and serve it on top of your protein or pasta. Buon appetito.
