Healthy Yogurt Bark Recipe With Salted Caramel (High Protein)
Looking for a low calorie Summer frozen dessert or healthy snack? If so, you are going
to love this low calorie salted caramel protein yogurt bark. It's not only healthy, but it's
also refreshening and delicious. On top of that, it's also very filling because of the
protein from the Greek yogurt. Let's make the perfect Summer treat, both adults and
kids can enjoy!
- 1 500 gr Greek Yogurt containers
- 2 tbsp Belmorso Salted Caramel Protein Spread plus more for drizzling
- 2 bananas
- a handful or two of pine nuts feel free to replace these with your favourite nut
- optional dark chocolate chips or you can crumble a portion of a bar
- sea salt
- water
Dilute the 2 tablespoons Belmorso salted caramel protein with a little water. You don't want it runny but it needs to be swirlable into your yogurt. Start with one tablespoon.
Add the yogurt into a large bowl and mix in the diluted salted caramel protein spread.
Line your dish with parchment paper.
Pour the yogurt and salted caramel mix on top of the lined dish, and use a spatula to spread it out. I made mine about 1.5 cm thick.
Slice the bananas and layer them on top.
Add a few small dollops of salted caramel protein.
Sprinkle your delicious yogurt bark with the pine nuts, or your choice of nuts.
Add some sea salt.
Top with the dark chocolate chips or chunks (optional).
Freeze overnight.
This is how they will look once you take them out of the freezer and break them with a knife.
This is how we stored them in the freezer, packed individually with some parchment paper. Then take the desired number of portions out of the freezer about 20 minutes before you want to eat them.
