Yogurt Bark FAQ

Before giving you the recipe, let me answer any common questions you might have around it.

How do you make yogurt bark?

Yogurt bark is the easiest and fun treat to prepare. All you have to do is layer the ingredients on top of each other and freeze overnight. It’s that easy.

Do you eat yogurt bark frozen?

Yes, you can eat yogurt bark frozen. That’s the perfect alternative to an ice lolly, one you know you’ve made yourself with wholesome ingredients.

The alternative is to take it out 10 to 20 minutes before you want to enjoy it, depending on whether it’s Winter or Summer, and let it melt slightly. Don’t worry, it won’t melt completely, unless you leave it out for longer on a hot Summer day.

What is Greek yogurt bark?

A Greek yogurt bark is a healthy alternative to a chocolate bar, and a lighter option to a protein bar. In other words, it’s a healthy frozen treat, which can easily be made at home with your favourite ingredients.

How quickly does yogurt bark melt?

It all depends on how hot it is in your kitchen. I’d say, on an average 15 degree Celsius day, it would take a yougurt bark placed on the counter about 30 minutes to melt, provided it was completely frozen when you took it out of the freezer.
