Closed Pizza With Ricotta & Spinach
Closed pizzas are indulgent but also very easy to make. They are perfect served with a side salads, making a quick dinner to put together for last minute guests or simple family dinners. Today, we are sharing another of our recipes.

Ricotta & Spinach Pizza Pie Recipe
Ingredients
- puff pastry roll
- 4 pieces frozen spinach (you can also use fresh)
- 1 container ricotta
- 1 egg
- 30 gr grated parmesan cheese
- your favorite seeds for topping (like sesame seeds or pumpkin)
- salt and pepper
- Belmorso Extra Virgin Olive Oil
How to make it
- Wilt your spinach for a few minutes in boiling water. Drain them, when they are ready
- In the meantime, mix the egg, the ricotta, the parmesan, and season. Once they are drained and cooled, you can add the spinach too.
- Mix and add a few drizzles of Belmorso extra virgin olive oil.
- Open your puff pastry roll, and layer it on a baking dish, covered with parchment paper.
- Add the filling you just made.
- Top with your favorite seeds and bake in a preheated over at 180 degrees Celsius for 25 minutes.
