Italian Pancakes 3 Flavors
You likely already have a pancake recipe you love. If you, I hope today’s recipe inspires you to try a different flavour. But if you don’t, feel free to use are easy pancakes recipe below.
Ingredients:
Makes 8 small pancakes.
130 grams all-purpose flour
25 grams sugar
12 grams baking powder
A pinch of salt (about 1 gram)
240 milliliters milk (approximately 240 grams)
1 large egg (about 50 grams)
28 grams melted butter or vegetable oil
5 milliliters vanilla extract (optional)
How To Make It:
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the egg and then mix in the milk, melted butter or oil, and vanilla extract.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. It’s okay if there are a few lumps.
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. Lightly grease it with butter or oil.
Pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.
Serve warm with one or all of these toppings. We suggest making a trio to enjoy all the flavours!
