Pinsa with Anchovies, Olives & Pecorino Sauce 

This is our third pinsa recipe. We hope you loved all the inspiration. Feel free to recreate these during the current festive period, and carry your favourite ones into 2026. That way, you’ll have plenty of ideas for pizza and pinsa nights in the new year!

Today’s one is very unique as it features anchovies, but if you’re not a fan, you can easily replace those with a can of tuna.

The sauce we chose for this recipe is our new Pecorino Cheese & Tomato Sauce for Pinsa. It’s delicious on pizza but you can also stir it into pasta and use it top chicken and meats.

Let me show you today’s pinsa recipe.

 

Ingredients 

  • New Belmorso Pecorino Cheese & Tomato Pinsa Pizza Sauce
  • 1 pinsa or more (or replace with your favourite pizza dough)
  • a few anchovies
  • a few black olives
  • stracciatella cheese or mozzarella
  • Belmorso EVOO

Steps 

Add your pinsa to a baking dish. Feel free to layer it with parchment paper.

Top the pinsa with a few tablespoons Belmorso Pecorino & Tomato Sauce for pizza.

Start adding the rest of ingredients in your favourite order. We like to start with the anchovies, then the black olives, and finish with the cheese.

Feel free to add your favourite Italian herbs.

Bake in a preheated oven for 10 minutes or so.

Take out of the oven and enjoy with a drizzle of Belmorso EVOO.
