Pistachio Baked Oatmeal Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cup oats
  • pinch of salt
  • vanilla essence
  • 2 tablespoons Belmorso EVOO
  • 1 cup milk to start with
  • 2 eggs
  • strawberries and peaches; or any seasonal fruit combination
  • Belmorso Pistachio Butter
  • pistachio nuts, no shell

How to make it

  1. Mix the dry ingredients – oats, salt, vanilla.
  2. Mix the wet ingredients – beat the eggs, ad the oil and the milk.
  3. Combine the dry with the wet ingredients.
  4. Chop and add the fruit. Mix well.
  5. Dilute the pistachio butter with a little milk, start with 4 tablespoons pistachio butter and one tablespoon milk.
  6. Add it to the oats and fruit, and mix.
  7. Transfer that mixture into a dish, lined with baking paper or greased with some oil.
  8. Drizzle more pistachio spread on top.
  9. Add the pistachio nuts.
  10. Bake in a pre-heated oven at 170 degrees C, for 45 minutes.
