Stuffed Turkey Breast in Tomato Sauce
If you are here you either love turkey and want more recipes to cook with it, or you are trying to find a way to like it or make your kids eat it. Either way, I am pretty sure you’re going to love this recipe. The best part is that you can recreate it with other meats, including chicken and beef.
To make it you will need these two key pantry ingredients:
Belmorso Pistachio Pesto (or Basil Pesto if you prefer)
The New Belmorso Tomato & Garlic Sauce
Let’s make it.

Stuffed Turkey Breast Recipe
We are using tacchinella breast, which is the breast of a young female turkey and is meant to be more tender than the regular turkey breast.
Ingredients:
a large slice of turkey breast pounded and flattened
Belmorso Sicilian 60% Pistachio Pesto
a few slices of your favorite stringy cheese (mozzarella, provolone, fontina)
a few slices pancetta
Belmorso Neapolitan Tomato and Garlic Sauce
2 garlic cloves
your favorite herbs (we are using rosemary and sage)
Steps:
Place your turkey breast slice on a clean surface.
Spread some pistachio pesto in the centre.

Add a few slices of cheese.
Roll the turkey breast on its side to close it.
Then wrap the bacon slices around it.

Use a few long tootpicks to close your turkey breast roll.
Take a casserole, and add the Tomato & Garlic sauce.
Then place the stuffed turkey breast roll on top of the sauce.

Add the fresh or dried herbs.
Bake in the oven for around 20 minutes.
PS: We only made one stuffed turkey breast roll, but you can make as many as you want and cook them together in a larger casserole. One bottle of Tomato & Garlic Sauce should be plenty for 3 or 4 stuffed turkey rolls.
